This is what I reccomend having ready for your birthing day whether you give birth at home, the Natural Beginnings Birth Center or hospital.

  • 1-2 copies of your birth plan

  • Robe or oversized t-shirt

  • Favorite blanket

  • Favorite pillow

  • 2 sets of baby clothes

  • A couple baby diapers

  • Food + tea/drinks

  • Phone charger

  • Pretty bralette with easy access for breastfeeding after

  • Reusable cup with bendy straw

  • Comfy change of clothes (leggings, t-shirt, hoodie)

  • Socks

  • Diapers or pads for yourself

Food and tea/drinks:

  • Electrolyte tablets (nuun)

  • Aloha protein shakes (i like the vanilla ones)

  • Canned coffee

  • RX bars or other protein bars

  • Beef jerky sticks

  • Red raspberry leaf tea with raspberries

Things I as your doula will bring to your birth (make sure to purchase if you do not have a doula):

  • Peppermint oil (for nausea)

  • Lavender oil for calm

  • Low lighting (candles, salt lamps, diffusers)
